The short version

We collect the minimum needed to run a speed test. We never store your full IP address, shareable result links contain only speed numbers, and advertising or analytics scripts load only according to your consent choices.

What we process when you run a test

• Measurement data: download and upload speed, ping, jitter, latency under load, and test duration.
• Your IP address: used during the test to move data and, optionally, to look up your provider name. If a result is saved for sharing, we store only a truncated network prefix (for example 203.0.113.0/24) — never the full address.
• Technical context: your browser identification string, stored with saved results to help interpret differences between devices.

Shareable result links

When your test completes, a share link with a random ID is created. The linked page shows speeds, latency, the provider name (when available), the test server, and the time of the test. It never shows an IP address. If you want a saved result removed, contact us with the link.

Contact form

Messages you send us include your name, email address, and message text, plus a truncated network prefix for spam prevention. We use them only to reply and keep them no longer than needed.

Cookies, advertising, and analytics

Essential cookies keep the site working (for example, a session cookie for forms). Advertising and analytics scripts load only in line with your consent choices where consent is required; see the Cookie Policy for details and how to change your choice.

Retention

Saved test results are deleted automatically after a retention period (by default one year). Rate-limiting records are deleted within days. Contact messages are removed once handled.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because we do not store full IP addresses, saved results usually cannot be linked to you unless you provide the share link. For any privacy request, contact us.

We will update this page when our practices change and adjust the date above.
